It's reached the point of summer where it's an effort just to drink enough fluids, much less actually EAT anything.Trixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405956286050242058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7929374.post-31868746801141365602008-08-03T16:05:00.000-05:002008-08-03T16:05:00.000-05:00I wish our farmers market had more home-made goods...I wish our farmers market had more home-made goods, especially this time of year. It's just too hot to bake in my apartment. My AC can't handle it. Cest la vie. We've got a great selection of produce, so that's good!Kirstenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14866412610499944622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7929374.post-18140220171014167142008-08-02T22:38:00.000-05:002008-08-02T22:38:00.000-05:00Oh yes, I know who you mean -- Two Feathers Baking...Oh yes, I know who you mean -- Two Feathers Baking Co. Oh my, their macaroons are TO DIE FOR. Also, there's a little lady who makes the Amish Chocolate Bread with chocolate chips -- really, it's just a big round brownie for $1.10. I have to steer clear or I will fall into the trap every time!

I'll have to stop by the farmer's truck tomorrow if I get a chance.Trixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405956286050242058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7929374.post-27679654861704603602008-08-02T20:34:00.000-05:002008-08-02T20:34:00.000-05:00You know the nice big Conoco on 14th on the south ...You know the nice big Conoco on 14th on the south side of town? On Sundays a farmer always sets up a big display with lots of locally grown produce (not just his stuff). I also think his prices are a bit better than our farmer's market too. My favorite thing at the FM is the homemade granola made by the two hippies (I think that's their name, the 2 women in tie-dyed shirts). Alas, it is SO not healthy.mom23https://www.blogger.com/profile/04525578469808073258noreply@blogger.com
