I was skipping back through my blog this morning looking for a post from the past about pork tenderloin. Imagine my surprise when I realized my bloggyversary is coming up this next Thursday! It's not the first anniversary, or the second, but SURPRISE! It's anniversary #3!
It is hard for me to fathom that this circle of friends on the web have been linked together that long. E.R. over at Erudite Redneck is the one who got me hooked. Countless others have contributed to my blog in various ways and even more out there have inspired me or touched my heart with their own blogs.
Here lately my blog has not been what I want it to be. Time and life has gotten in the way, especially the past couple of months, but I have hopes of recharging this and making some changes. It's time for me to shake things up here, the way the rest of my life has been shaken.
No time to get into it this morning, because I have to write up the police and sheriff's report for the Sunday paper, and there's a parade in 45 minutes. I'll be going to meet with a pair of guys who were co-drum majors in their class as they watch the parade together today. Now, at 58, they are scattered to other places, but one last hurrah with today's parade.
Stay tooned to this station!

That is a bit boggling that it's been three years!
I was just thinking the other day that I'll be glad when summer is over and all my bloggy buddies will be back in a routine. Then I'll be sad again when the holidays hit and the blogs are hit-and-miss. It's a vicious cycle sometimes! ;)
Three years. I started blogging in my last swemester of my master's when I was burning up so much mental energy. Now, I'm just blo ... What was I talking about?
:-)
Happy bloggiversary!
Hello T;
Although I don't visit all that often, you have always perched on top of a pedestal labeled "perfect blogger". I have now started one of my own, but I need technical support of the sort I feel you can offer - so here I am. My issue is, well, one of them, is that I don't know how to create links in my blog. Just posting http://archsculpt.blogspot.com/, or http://www.archsculptbooks.com/home.htm for example, does not seem to do it. Do you have any suggestion? Einar
Hi Einar! Good to see you again. It has been a while.
Now you've made me have to practice a little bit to get this trick right, since I haven't blogged in a while. But to create a clickable link like this:
Here I've taken the spaces out so it will form the link you can click on:
Archsculpt
just use this HTML format (you will have to take out the spaces before and after any < or > characters.
< a href="http://archsculpt.blogspot.com/" > Archsculpt < /a >
I hope this example works this time!
Oh good! It worked! And from what I've seen in my glance, I love your blog! I have a great interest in architectural history. In fact, I'm working on some articles about such things locally in preparation for our state's centennial.
I'll post more on that work later.
ER, I think your blogiversary was Aug. 7, if I recall correctly. Happy passage of time to you!
I can't believe it's been this long since this post! Haven't you found your laptop yet?? ;)
Found the laptop, found the camera. Bought a wireless router.
Can't find the modem. :(
I'm hoping I don't have to work tomorrow so I can spend some more time searching. Why can't life be simple????
:::whine:::
I hope you have time off, too. Not only because I want to hear from you more often, but so you can get settled. We can't have Trixie's sanity stretched any further! ;)
Trixie,
I have missed having the time to read. The things all my friends are doing. Congrads.
Hey I have a question. Which house did you decide on? I know that was a while back. But I was thinking about it the other night.
Do you have any pictures of your new favorite corner?
best to you,
Jeannie Diane
