A few photos from the opening ceremonies of the International Builders Show in Orlando last week.
There was a musical -- "Stand Up and Cheer: A Musical Tribute to America" starring Jimmy Osmond.
Many genres of American music representing decades of our history were performed, from the Gay 90s to Rock-n-Roll.
There was Dixieland jazz --
Elegant dancers with the Big Band era --
and an orchestra with a great drummer.

Par-TAY!
Hee hee hee!! You haven't lived until you've heard Ted Koppel sing about the Great Wall of China!
Dang. That beats the nailgun competition! Did ya see that? ... And Koehler (sp?) always puts on THE show.
I only got two or three hours on the floors, so I didnt' make it through nearly everything.
But... did you know I won a belt sander race a few years ago at the fairgrounds? I won a T-shirt saying "Extremely Abrasive." Seems appropriate at times.
