I love the way the master suite flows into the closet and then the laundry room. That's one of my favorite features.

The events of the world may be important, but there's nothing more important than the life that happens within our very own homes.

You crack me up. Yer supposed to be relaxin' this week. ... Maybe you are. I'll bet yer gettin' in even more hours of HGTV, ain'tcha? :-)
My dream home is the one I'm livin' in -- if the deferred maintenance of the past few years hadn't been deferred in favor of grad school time and expenses. When I was in my early 20s, if someone had ever tole me I'd be livin' in a four-bedroom house, with a brick patio and a "great room" and an oversized garage, I'da told 'em they wuz crazy. ... Of course, the whole damn house looks like it's been burglarized, it's so messy, and there's weeds growin' in the patio bricks, and you couldn't fit a car in the garage edgewise, and the back yard is a mud pit, and the landscaping is shot all to hell from lack of attention, and the hydrant on the front of the house is broken, and the kitchen needs updated and the carpet needs replaced and the sunroom has been plumb took over by the dogs. But hey. Still. Me. In such a house. Who the hell'da thunk it?
It sounds lovely, ThePress! LOL seriously, that's the cool thing about owning your own house. YOU get to decide what it looks like. Except for that Providence house (which I know you like too, fess up), I am happy with my home too. Mainly because it is PAID FOR. And also because I've done the kitchen update and the redecoratin' stuff. Still couldn't wedge another thing in the garage. Maybe if I donate that microfilm reader somewhere ... at least I'd have room to stand inside there.
