I talked to her again today and although she still sounds very weak, I think her condition has improved slightly. She is still in ICU, but stepped down to a lower nursing level. My cousin is with her and told me tonight she plans to take a leave of absence for several weeks. I've got a bag packed in case I need to leave here on short notice, but for now we all think she'll be better off without a lot of company.
