Dog-sitting

I've been out of pocket for a few days, dog-sitting. Here's my new best friend. We've become very close. Every morning we get up and play ball for a while during the cool time. When it's hot, we stay inside the house with the A/C as much as possible. Sometimes we play with Spongebob Square Pants and a long-necked dog (a toy giraffe). We've been having loads of fun!
Emma thinks she is a lap dog. Sometimes I have to remind her that when she stands up on her rear legs, she is taller than I am (not to mention stronger!)
Don't tell, but she really likes sleeping on the bed next to me. Her mom really doesn't want her doing that but mom's not here right now. Shhh.... it's a secret! I do have to say that Emma likes her half out of the middle of the bed.

Isn't she pretty, though? One blue eye and one brown.

That bottom pic is a hoot! Those eyes freak me out, tho.

Me too, I have to admit! I can only stand to look at her in profile. Give me a blue eye, or give me a brown eye, but don't look at me with both of them at the same time! LOL!

She discovered the archway on the second floor of the new house right away. It quickly became her portal to the world. I just hope she never tries jumping over it because it is a long way down to a cement floor. Ouch!

Yeah, those nose prints -- can you believe, that was an hour after they got to the new house? I know where she's going to be spending most of her time once they get moved in there.
Yes, stained concrete floor with radiant heat system under it. Should be a breeze to keep it cleaned, I think.
I've been staying at Anne's current house the past few days and there are nose prints everywhere there, too.

Ah, nose prints on a glass door. I love them. Makes me feel at home.

The dog is good looking.

Would you like to babysit Mama Dog while we are in Chicago? She loves to play fetch inside and although she sleeps in the middle of the bed...she's small.

(The eyes...shudder)

I love dog-sitting! Especially for dogs that like to play.

Apropos of nothing:
I had a girl friend once that had a green eye and a brown eye. The colors weren't very pronounced but she did confuse you a bit when you first saw her. She wasn't a dog by any means, but she did turn out to be a bitch. After about five dates she had exhausted my cash flow and went on to a more flush environment.
Nice pooch there.
